Everyone wants to quit something.
We all have our addictions, our vices, our demons. Nail biting, procrastination, pessimism, smoking, binge eating, junk food, wasting time online or in front of the T.V., staying in a bad relationship, whatever it is, we’ve been struggling with it for years, and are now, most likely, hopeless, helpless, and emotionally exhausted.
There is no ‘cure-all’ solution to finally and permanently fix our habits.
Anyone that tells otherwise is trying to sell you something! Everyone’s method for quitting is going to be different, specifically tailored for them, because every person is different.

- Physical activity
- Home remedies
- Professional counseling
- Aversion therapy
- Motivational media
- Social support
- Financial or material incentives
These are just a few of the many options that you might choose to include in your own personal program to quit for good.
There’s going to be trial-and-error, failures and successes, good days and bad, but in the end, every program will include two things: persistence and patience.
